Production Team Name/Shirt(s)

with one comment

Okay readers, you get first glimpse and first chance for suggestions on something I’ve been working on.
You get to see these even before Ryan does.

Let me explain…
Recently in a post I asked for suggestions on a name for dialogue’s production team.
Not many of you chimed in, but for those of you who did, thanks!
Anyhow, today in our Monday morning meeting we discussed a way to get the kids of dialogue church more active and taking more ownership in the ministry.
The credit for this idea goes to Kim, our chidrens ministry director.

By allowing them to really take an ownership and have a ministry they can call their own will be huge. The photo is just something quick I pulled together. The shirt should probably be adjusted more for the younger generation.
It’s just an idea.

Anyhow, I also designed one for the adult team.

There they are.
Our production team shirts.
Some of the ideas were taken from other church’s and the design of their production staff shirts.
Let me know what you think, and also any suggestions you might have.
This is anywhere from a finished product(e.g. the color is the wrong color of green).

What’s your opinion? Lay it on me, I can take the truth!

Production/Setup Team Name

with 4 comments

I would like to ask for all my readers’ help/opinion/advise/creative ideas.
Let me explain…

So here is my big job.
Well, not really a job, but more like my privelege.
I am choosing on a name for our Dialogue Church Production/Setup Team.

Some sweet church’s pick just simple names, using combinations of their church name with the word “production”.
I’m sure other church’s pick creative names and fancy names.
I really have no clue which way to go…or even prefer to go.
Here are some of my ideas…

  • Dialogue Re:set
  • Dialogue Production
  • Dialogue Re:production Team (lol)
  • Dialogue Re:make

Seriously, that is ALL I have.
    I need help.
    Some opinions/suggestions/ideas.

This is a part of Creative Chaos over at

What would you call your production team if you had a choice??

    Dialogue Promos; and your help

    with 2 comments

One of the smaller things about Dialogue that I love, is the creativeness of our pastor Ryan Schaefer.
Now I know I don’t give him many props on my blog.
However, I have to say, he’s killer in every area(besides maybe time management).
If you have not met him, you need to.
    Here are some of the promo’s that Ryan has creatively designed for our use in the booth;

So tell me, which ones do you like, and why?

Also, feel like being creative? Feel free to have fun, make a promo and send me an email at with the attached file. Dialogue would love to use your art work.

One more thing, this is a part of Creative Chaos over at Ragamuffinsoul[dot]com. Be sure to head over there to check out the rest.

    Busy Building/Creative Chaos

    with 15 comments

I know I had asked everyone the previous week to view the new website. However, I’m asking again. The more feedback, the more I know what is wanted from the viewers on a website.
Feel free to bash it. Build it up. Do whatever you want to it.
All I ask while you’re doing this, is to be honest about your opinion. It matters. If it didn’t matter, I would bother asking you.

Here it is, what has seemingly been consuming me for a week and a half(and will continue to do so until I finish it up, and still some), Dialogue Church Website.

Again, just a briefing on why we’re using what we are. We decided that to start out we wouldn’t pay someone to build a website for us, saving us some initial spending. Instead we have taken full advantage of and created a website through their allowed platform.

The website is nothing amazing(again, obviously since we’re using and are extremely limited), however if you please you can check out the page HERE.

When you’re finished browsing it, come back here and lend me your feedback, good or bad.

This is my entry for two weeks of Creative Chaos over at Be sure to check the rest of the Creative minds out over there.

Blogger Small Group – Scripture Release Week 8

    with 3 comments

    Scripture Release:
Partnered with Jeff over at Consuming Worship, we are releasing week eight’s scripture for the Blogger Small Group. If you unaware of what this small group still is, GO HERE to read the expectations, instructions and guidelines. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO JOIN IN!!

Also, this is an entry for Los’ Creative Chaos for the week of June 12. Be sure to check out the rest of the Creative Chaos nuts over at Ragamuffinsoul.

This week we’re going to be breaking down Romans a little differently. Normally every week, we take a chapter from a book, read the entire thing, then come back here and share. This week we are going to try something a little different. My friend at Worship Revolution had suggested this little change. At first I was not sure if this is where or how I wanted the small group to go, but after looking into Romans a little more, and seeing the length of the chapters coming up, I believe this is going to be good for all us. His suggestion was that we break down the chapters a little smaller, in return I believe we will reap these benefits:

    • Less Reading
    • More study time
    • Deeper discussion
    • Better feedback

It does mean that it will take us a little longer to get through Romans. However, I don’t think you can sacrifice knowledge and growth for time. Nor do I believe it makes sense to hurry up and get through a reading just to to get through it, meanwhile you’re missing out on TONS of valuable/priceless information.

This week we’re going to start on Romans chapter three(3). However instead of the full chapter, we’re going to focus on verses one[1] through eight[8]. We’ll see how this goes, and at the end of the week, I would like everyone’s feed back with how they feel on the change, good or bad. Honesty is all I ask for when giving feedback.

Remember, next Tuesday is when we get together and meet to share where this scripture lead us, and to discuss with each other in whatever way God leads us.

    Dialogue (Non)Business Cards

    with 6 comments

I don’t know if everyone will find this cool, but I do.
    Maybe it’s my creativeness.
Or maybe it’s just fullfilling because it feels as if we’re just one more step closer to a launch.
Anyhow, experience the joy I am…

[Be sure to check out Ryan’s description of what these cards really are for.]

    Two things;
What do you think and what new is going on at your church that excites you?

[This post has been in partnership with Los’ every week does a Creative Chaos post and invites all of us to join in. So go check the rest out and perhaps even do one of your own]

    Creative Chaos (9)

    with 2 comments

Recently I had found a blog that I have truly enjoyed exploring. Her name is Andra Lauren. While scrolling through her blog to get updated on all the past entries she had posted I came across one that included this video about abortion. While not agreeing with everything in the video, I love what she does here, and the point she gets across. This video truly will change the way you view abortion and life in general. The information isn’t new information. The reality of it hasn’t changed. However, her presentation of the information and the reality will change you. [and if nothing else it at least brings up great discussion]

    What did you think??

[If you liked this video, be sure to check out Andra over at Devastation and Reform.]
