I have moved to a NEW location!!!!

with one comment

Okay, so I haven’t really moved, but my blog has.
That’s right, my new blog can be found HERE.

(be sure to change your blogroll to this address: http://vagabondrun.com – Different from the last due to the word “run” now only has one “n” instead of two.)

While its been fun using a wordpress.com blog, there were just too many limitations that I did not want any longer. So I figured since I have made lots of friends since I started blogging, that it was time to get up and move to a larger location. All I ask from you all is patience as we go through this change together.

NEW BLOG ADDRESS:

http://vagabondrun.com

(This does mean that if you subscribe to my feed, that you will need to resubscribe at the new location. I apologize for the inconvenience, yet believe everyone will be much happier with the new site)

Any questions? Good!

Blog of the Month??

with one comment

So WordPress releases “Blogs of the Month” er something, each month.
Anyhow, I was informed that in the month of December I did something right.
I was #9, in the “Top 100 Growing Blogs” in the month of December.
Look, I swear I’m not making this up…
blogs-of-the-month
Right inbetween Life@Christ The Rock and the Spanish Blog.
Uhh…

Anyhow, now I’m not sure how they come to this decision.
Perhaps I just sucked it up amazingly in November, and so in December since I actually did something, it showed up.
Or maybe it actually was something cool, and means my blog is actually being viewed.
December was a busy month for my blog…hmm, who knows.
It does make me wonder if I should actually blog about stuff of importance every so often.
Because according to WordPress….People are watchhiiinng.

Hi, my name is Kyle and I’m a blog stat whore…are you?

2008 Review in Photos

with one comment

Wow.
I really have no clue where to begin.
2008 brought so many ups and downs that just the thought of going through and rehashing all of it freaks me out.
Regardless, 2008 was amazing for many reasons, and one in particular.

Thankful fors in 2008 in no particular order:
(clicking each photo will enable you to leave a comment and to enlarge a specific photo)

There are many more photo’s I could place up there; blog party, etc. However I have limited space and time.
Perhaps if I feel it, I’ll do a 2008 in Review part II.
I will say this, Twitpic made this a whole lot easier.

Anyhow….
I truly never will forget 2008.
Each memory will be tattooed on mind and heart forever.
From the moment of 01/01/08, to the moment of all the tears I cried, to the moment I first laid my lips on Allison’s, to the moments soon awaiting me in the next few days.
2008 will be a defining moment of my life to come.

I could truly never be more blessed.

Here’s to 2009!

New Dialogue Graphics (part 2)

I’ve been busy working on getting the Dialogue Website updated and looking fresh that I haven’t had the opportunity to post a few more graphics.

Anyhow, here are a few more:

Again, your opinion is welcomed.
Never be afraid to tell me something sucks…especially when/if it does.

So…bash away readers, bash away all.

We’re here…finally.

with 7 comments

Okay, so I’ve been quiet.
I apologize.
Allison and I left on Wednesday evening to head to Georgia for the big party.
On our way we stopped in to just northeast of Cincinnati in Ohio to visit her cousin’s Ray and Melissa.
It was a great short stop.
Refreshing.
We decided to leave there around midnight, with hopes to enter the domains of Gainesville, GA around eight in the morning.
It was roughly that time when we did get there.
However, that was long after our detour around the mountains and valley’s of our 30 min in North Carolina.(a little different view than what we see in Indiana)
travel
But…we did finally get here.
The first night we stayed with my aunt/uncle, Chery and Jose, and the boys.
We ate very well. Many LARGE portions of authentic homemade mexican food.
The boys are great.
I miss them while I’m home…sometimes I forgot how much.
Tonight we are staying with our new friends, the Nahrstadt’s.
Jenn invited us last week to stay with her and her family. It was nice, even though we didn’t need a place. However, after thinking about it, they had two extra beds, and while we were staying with my aunt, we were kicking two people out of their beds(they insisted). It made it all work out great.
They are great people.
I mean seriously, who asks if you want brownies and then make them from scratch without a box?!
Honestly, I am not sure I have ever had homemade brownies.

Oh, I did get the chance to play their 14 year old son in Guitar Hero.
Sadly…he won.
The current score:

untitled

Be sure to check back at the end of the weekend.
It surely has to change…I hope.

Pray for my guitar hero skills…

She’s blogging…

with 3 comments

There are certain people in my life that I desire to blog.
Finally, one of them, has stepped up and obtained their little corner of the web.
Allison has decided to take the plunge to where lots of us have.
She took that step into sharing her thoughts and her heart with everyone to see.
Honestly, I’m excited for all my readers to get to hear/see the heart that Allison has. Her mind is larger and deeper than mine.
There are times when lets be honest, I don’t seem to be compassionate or caring, and she is breaking to pieces.

Take a minute and check her blog out and leave her a comment or two: My Beautiful Love

She is definitely the better side of me.

What do you say?

with one comment

Tonight I came across a cool program on a blog I read.
The program is called Wordle.
It takes the words that you use on your blog and organizes them by size and position according to what words you’re recently using the most.

I love that “Love People” is right next to “Dialogue Church”.

What do you talk about amongst your blog?
