Blogger Small Group

with 10 comments

This weeks Small Group in partnership with Consuming Worship we start week three of our not so new format. This revised version of the small group has benefited my intake of knowledge and understanding incredibly. This week we’ve studied Romans chapter three[3] verses twenty-one[21] through thirty-one[31].(Side Note: If you haven’t read Romans chapter three[3], but want to participate. Read it now and write about it. Any input is better than no input. Everyone is welcome.) [Mr. Linky is at the bottom]

  8. Romans is a great book because it is the gateway to Paul’s epistles to the church. The text you site Romans 3:21-31 has a lot of meat. If I had to pick just two topics from this text that are astounding and confound religious people it would be the following:

    1. Verse 22 – Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe….( KJV )
Clearly God is showing us we don’t even have the faith to believe but it is Jesus Christ’s faith when he said by faith of Jesus Christ. So we believe on Jesus Christ and God uses Christ’s faith to keep us.

    2. Verse 30 – God justifies the circumcision (Jew) by faith and the uncircumcision (Gentile) through faith.

    Awesome!
